The PALS program at St. John School allows us to encourage and enjoy parents being involved in their children's education.
Check out our PALS Volunteer program and then continue to explore information on how volunteer hours are tracked on the honor system with our online recording system. Parents Assist Learning in our School (PALS) School Volunteering Program
Parents must attend the VIRTUS program to volunteer to help with field trips, parties, and other activities where you will be interacting with the students. All school employees and volunteers must have a background check before working with the children. The background check for volunteers is $18.00. The volunteer must pay for the cost of the background check. The VIRTUS program is titled "Protecting God's Children" and is meant to help you identify the signs of child sexual abuse. Please contact the school office or the VIRTUS website for more information.
