St John School was represented by three of our students Saturday, February 19th, at a day long workshop and concert held at the beautiful Bartlesville High School Fine Arts Center. The day was very educational and the finale concert was impressive. 175 + students joined in the day. Our own Amy Dickey, as a director, prepared Olivia C., Emily W., and Lisa W. before the day, supervised, and was actively helping man the ticket table, too! Thirteen local schools and Ponca City area schools, that were snowed out for their scheduled day, joined in this amazing event. The group choir was led and conducted by Jeanne Lucas and accompanied by Kathy Beard. The performance included eight songs, sung from memory, and covered the spectrum from Latin to Spanish and from religious, folk, to traditional. The enthusiasm and quality of the performance was superior.
